It's light enough that it doesn't try to be highbrow and make me rack my brain over it, but the story line presents ironies that make you think too. ... Nate is perpetually sad and confused for a reason, he is Chuck's polar opposite....Even the minutest detail in the production (wardrobe, lighting, location) maneuvers the story in the right direction. ... It's kinda sad that critics think of it as a soap because the story had so many layers....
